What makes a good poster? An iconic image. A powerful tagline. An eye-popping design. I could go on and on. But the most important thing is that a good poster should instantly catch our attention. It should incite not just a passing glance, but a second look. It should give us an idea of what the film is about, without overloading us with facts.
For the third year in a row, I decided to make a countdown of the best movie posters of the year. It was a daunting task to trim it down to ten, but I’m proud to have done it. You may go to this link to check the 43 posters that missed the top 10 by a hairline.
And now, on to my list…
10. Music from the Big House
8. Enter the Void
And the number one poster is...
I kid. OK, that was a bad joke. Bieber fans, don't barrage me with hate tweets. And the real numero uno is none other than...

great posters. like the rabbit hole one. na-intrigue tuloy ako dun sa a horrible way of dying. hehe
I fell in love with the poster of Rabbit Hole the first time I saw it. It features Nicole's character in a gamut of emotions that she went through in the film. I think a Horrible Way of Dying is a 2011 film. What a teaser, right?
i LOVE Rabbit Hole's poster too!
Buried's posters are all creatively done.
I have to say that the Justin Bieber's never say never should be at the top! Hahaha. Joke. Rabbit Hole rocks!

Hey, I am checking this blog using the phone and this appears to be kind of odd. Thought you'd wish to know. This is a great write-up nevertheless, did not mess that up.
